OFFICIAL REQUIREMENTS OF MBA PAGEANT PARTNERSHIPS

Local organizations and individuals can enter into relationships with the Miss Black America Pageant and provide enrichment in the lives of ladies between 9 and 29 - causing them to join the Sisterhood of Miss Black America Pageantry, and finally sending Local MBA Pageant Winners into the Miss Black America Final Pageant.

                   THE MBAP          AFFILIATE SEARCH &            PAGEANT PARTNER
Affiliate MBA (S&PPs)  are intricately affiliated with the MBAP.  This group independently follows the manual, sets up an MBAP Local Committee, and meets with them in accord with the guidelines and steps outlined in the S&PP Manual;  It solicits and works with contestants, and officiates the Sisterhood of MBA Pageantry Meetings; and, in coordination with the MBAP Team Leader, produces a local MBAP Search and Pageant Event

        THE MBAP ASSOCIATE          SEARCH &  PAGEANT                      PARTNER
Associate MBA (S&PPs) are associated closely with the MBAP, offering advice, and resources.

The associate must possess and refer viable contacts in the community to the MBAP Team Leader,  but is not responsible to the MBAP for originating and carrying out programs, or producing a Local MBAP.

The MBAP Team Leader assumes the basic responsibilities of  developing the personnel and MBA program in that locale.  However, the Team Leader is always on the lookout  for an organization or person to  serve as an Affiliate  or Associate MBA  (S&PP).

Affiliate and Associate Partners must mirror and reflect similar goals and missions of the MBA Pageant.

          The basic mission of the                    MBA Pageant :

The Miss Black America Pageant serves as a mission implementer and exclusive fund raiser and for the American Institute of Positivity

The primary mission of the A.I.P. is to cause everyone it encounters to Sow the Seeds of Positivity and Reap the Flowers of Success.

The MBAP is much much more than a Beauty contest. The Pageant found a way to accelerate the self-esteem and self-confidence of its contestants.

The main purpose as stated in the Pageant's Oath of Positivity is to introduce each contestant to the reality of her inherent greatness. When she accepts this reality, she enjoys her pageant experience with a sharper sense of who she is, and a brighter vision of what she can become.

Incidentally, to motivate contestants to learn the pageant’s creed, Mr. Anderson offers a cash award to any contestant who can recite the Oath.

HOW TO BECOME AN MBA PAGEANT PARTNER

To apply for approval to become an MBA Affiliate Partner or MBA Associate Partner, simply complete the on line application and submit it to MissBlackAmerica.com. for review.

Once your application has been satisfactorily reviewed, your referrals have been contacted, and you have been interviewed by a Miss Black America Regional Team Leader, you can enjoy the experience of becoming a proud participant in a positive institution which provides a forum and an environment where Success Seeking Sisters relax, assume self control,  dream the dream, and take proper steps to realize the dream come true.

You and your organization will be provided with all the materials and resources you need to partner with the Miss Black America Pageant and the American Institute of Positivity.
